Xu Gang and Fang Zhong collaborated with Wang Nanlin's research group to study the phase transition of LaOFeAs at 150K, and successfully predicted the stripe antiferromagnetic ground state in the iron-based superconducting matrix, which was confirmed by subsequent neutron scattering experiments. The discovery of stripe antiferromagnetic order is a milestone in the field of iron-based superconductivity. Their proposed spin-density wave (SDW) magnetic mechanism based on Fermi surface nesting is a deep understanding of the magnetic fluctuations in iron-based superconductors. The relationship of superconductivity has an important guiding role. The result was selected as one of the “100 Most Influential International Academic Papers in China in 2008”, and it was also one of the important achievements of the “National Natural Science First Prize” awarded by Iron-based Superconductor. Currently, it is cited more than 750 times.
