Title: Ferrovalley, half-valley and supervalley materias
Lecturer: Professor Chungang Duan from East China Normal University
Inviter: Professor Gang Xu, Wuhan MFC
Timeslot: 15:00-17:00 pm on Nov 8,2022
Venue: Tecent Conference online(Conference No.:247-675-627, Code: 764832)
Speech abstract:
In this talk, I will present our recentresearch on valley materials. Particularly, I will introduce the concept of ferrovalley, half-valley and supervalley materias. It is very interesting that three new valley Hall effects,i.e.anomalous valley Halleffect, quantum anomalous valley Hall effect and quantum super valley Hall effect, are respectively related to these materials. Our theory not only opens a new way to understand the collective motionsofelectrons in solid, but provides hints to create various elementary particles in a crystal universe.
